So my birthday turned out to be quite a nice day, although I mostly wanted to do nothing at all and live it like any other day. But I’m glad for my family who still went out of their way to make it special for me.
In the morning, my sister wanted to take me out for breakfast, but we got delayed so we dropped that plan and instead, went directly for the next plan – Movie. We saw The Devil wears Prada 2. the whole day was a surprise for me by the way.
After that, we walked around a mall, shopping. Had a very nice Japanese lunch at a place in Vasant Vihar (I’m Delhi based). After that, we went home, sat with my family for a while and just generally chatted. While this was going on, a friend showed up!
I had to then get ready for a dinner with family. So I was getting ready and 2 more friends came over during that time. We chatted while I got ready and then reached the dinner place.
Had lovely Chinese food (one of my favourites) from one of my favourite places. Light conversations and good food made up the lovely evening.
Overall, I had a great day, nothing too fancy or outgoing, but it was simple and well spent.
